In this day and age a lot of people forget that Yield can literally do exactly that, yield result and yield revenue.

There is a fine line between a loss leader and driving sales through yield however, in my experience when it comes to menus or room rates and selling hospitality events, pitching your rate correctly will not only yield a good response but will also yield higher revenue.

Doing 100 sales at £25 looks bigger and better than doing, not only delivers higher revenue, compared to doing 25 sales at £50.

Next have been a victim of there own yield like success for the last few years during there boxing day sales…
