Do you Know your Pantone

In the wake of the news, Facebook is about to update its logo and colour (again) as well as harking back to our post on consistency with brand guidelines.

Using the correct RGB, HSL or #ff0000 reference for your colour or as it’s known a “Pantone” more commonly for matching colours, used in specifying printing inks.

Knowing your colour and knowing your entire pallet and Pantone with codes etc will ensure that your brand colour or colours are consistent.

50 shades of grey might be a well know book and off white might be more associated with painting your house, but to be on brand or to have that unique colour, the importance of the Pantone will be more prevalent than you ever knew.
