Given a legitimacy boost when home brewing was legalised in 1978, home brewers started to create amber ales, porters, pale ales, and later, almost infamously IPAs, in an attempt to move away from laddish larger culture promoted by mass-market breweries with lager or light beer.

But the latter half of this decade has seen the rise of what would have once been a pipe dream; Craft Ale, Lager, Beer.

Pleasing all of your customers all of the time is never going to be easy, and being tied to a brewery or purchasing agreements may prove to be tough, however, offering a range of craft Ale, Lager or Beer will certainly increase your drink sales even if originally through curiosity alone.
