Consistency is key… Branding, socially, in house, externally, digitally, every which way possible.

Even if you are a smaller company or business, the creation of brand guidelines, could massively increase your marketing appeal as well as add a certain amount of weight to a customer’s perception or loyalty towards you and your brand.
Font, colour, tone, position and the complete branding of your company will increase value, because unorganised small businesses don’t have brand guidelines and a consistent marketing focus – do they ?
Brand guidelines should cover the following;
- Logo – colour, position, size and when to use
- Colours (Pantone)
- Emails – including signatures and stationary
- Stationary / Collateral
It would also be wise to have a list of do’s and don’ts as examples to hammer home the point of this, such as logo colour change; e.g black logo on white background in the centre, would contradict, white logo on black background left side.
